Pedroia closing in on Kinsler in voting

Dustin Pedroia still trails the Rangers’ Ian Kinsler at second base in the voting for the All-Star balloting period, but it looks like it will go down to the wire.
In-stadium voting has already ended, but fans can still vote online for starters up to 25 times with the 2009 All-Star Game Sprint Online Ballot at MLB.com and all 30 club sites until Thursday at 11:59 p.m. ET. Pedroia, coming off an MVP season in 2008 and having another solid year while playing stellar defense, trailed by almost 59,000 votes last week but has moved within 6,830 of Kinsler with only days remaining in the balloting.
