When the subject of Boston College football is broached, many people immediately think of offensive linemen. Some may think of quarterbacks, or even linebackers.
The Eagles have never exactly been known for turning out wide receivers. They have boasted a few crafty pass catchers in Brandon Robinson, Tony Gonzalez and Kevin Challenger over recent seasons. Good collegiate players, all. But a true burner who combines size with speed? There haven’t been a lot at The Heights over the years.
Colin Larmond Jr. might just change that perception about BC. If he can continue to make plays like the one he did against Kent State on Saturday, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound sophomore wideout most certainly will.
